An introductory course to the carbine rifle, this course teaches students the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship including the basic rifle holds, and how to most effectively utilize them for better accuracy. Weather you’r a new shooter, an avid shooter or just trying to get back the basics and fundamentals or wether you are operating an AR-15 style platform, AK, FAL, or Tavor. This 8 hour course will train and challenge students on the mechanics of the carbine rifle. We will cover gear, optics and accessories selections to maximize your setup for your specific needs. We will also cover loading and unloading as well malfunction clearing for your specific weapon type.
A continuation of the Level I Course, in this eight hour dynamic course students will learn the 4 rifle shooting positions and receive specific corrections to maximize efficiency. They will also learn the techniques for shooting on the move and shooting from covered positions. Course will also include instruction on multi target engagements and primary to secondary weapon transitions while on the move. Stress inoculation will be used throughout the course to simulate real world scenarios. (Completion of Level I course or instructor approval required)
